The adidas YEEZY Boost 380 is Kanye West's latest foray into the world of sock-like sneakers. Unveiled back in 2018 with the release of the "Alien", the YEEZY Boost 380 was originally supposed to be the hotly anticipated YEEZY Boost 350 V2, but according to legend, Ye loved the silhouette so much that he made it its own thing. Giving the 350 V2 a subtle yet striking rework, this silhouette gained a pretty following over the past few years - and we're not surprised at all.
One of the most futuristic adidas shoes in existence, the first thing that you'd notice about the YEEZY Boost 380 is the stretchy sock-like Primeknit upper. Unlike retro pairs such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1, or the Nike Dunk High, this shoe offers up an easy slip-in and slip-out experience. See-through mesh panels adorn the lateral and medial sides, and down below, you'll find a wedge-shaped adidas Boost midsole that's features a chunkier heel for added comfort and cushioning with every step. This is then finished off with a rubber outsole for durable traction wherever you plan to go.
Even though the YEEZY Boost 380 is only three years old, YEEZY has been working harder than ever to release many new colorways as possible.
